Hardware and Software Requirements

In order to use the Service, Company must obtain and maintain, at Company’s expense, compatible hardware and software as specified by Bank from time to time. Company is solely responsible for electronically transmitting deposit items, accessing the Service from Bank and for maintaining Company’s image capture equipment. Bank is not responsible for any third party software Company may need to use the Service. Any such third party software is accepted by Company as is and is subject to the terms and conditions of the software agreement Company enter into directly with the third party software provider at time of download and installation.

If any of the following requirements are not met for the client PC, stop the installation process. Either establish the PC with the required components or load the remote capture application on a different PC that meets the requirements listed below.

  • Operating System: Windows 10 (64-bit), Apple Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6, Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10, mac OS X Mavericks 10.9, Mac OS Sierra 10.12
  • RAM (Memory): Minimum Requirement: 512MB RAM
  • Processor: Intel i3 or compatible 2.4 GHz or higher processor
  • Primary Hard Drive: 5GB available hard drive space
  • Scanner Connections/Ports: One available USB 2.0 port
  • Screen Resolution: Screen Resolution of 1024 x 768 or higher
  • Software Dependencies: The following software components are necessary for the application to operate correctly and should be loaded or installed prior to the remote capture installation process.
    • Internet Explorer 11.0 or higher.
    • Google Chrome for Windows 8, 10, and Mac.
    • Microsoft Edge
    • Apple Safari
    • Mozilla Firefox
    • .NET Framework: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
    • .NET 3.0, 3.5 and 4.5 are supported, but require .NET 2.0 also resident on PC.
    • Adobe (Acrobat) Reader: Adobe Reader 5.0 or higher. When using 8.1, download the current version of Adobe Reader. Do not use the 8.1 Adobe Reader App (tile)
  • NOTE: Reports are delivered as HTML and Adobe PDF. Some are provided in PDF only (QuickBooks® Reports, Research Reports and Training documents)
  • Windows Login Rights: The following Windows rights are required to access the relevant functions for remote capture.
    • Administrator Rights: Users will require local administrator access to the workstation to install the security policy, activate computer, and perform first-time capture.
      NOTE: This test is bypassed if Windows Vista is detected.
    • WinZip Utility: WinZip 9.0 or higher installed. (Option only needed if using the Image Export feature)
      Proxy Settings: Secure connectivity to the FI’s Deposit 24/7 server.
